Materials and Equipment
Everything has Value
Make a Difference
In a country where most of the population lives below the poverty line, donating in the right way can make a real difference. It can be the difference between life and death, hope and despair, the way to a better future.
Used or new, a dusty crib in your attic, that old telephone in your desk drawer, baby clothes that your child has outgrown, used school furniture, cooking stuff, in principle everything is conceivable to help or support our Gambian people.
Goods can be sent from many countries to The Gambia to a collection point (mostly a NGO itself) or with a “Charity Container”. The last one is a reliable and tax-free system that processes material and equipment for various NGOs in just 1 container shipped once a week or a month.
Materials & Equipment
For an optimal and effective collaboration with a donor, we always ask to be as specific as possible with what you want to donate. For example: Size, model, type, number, pictures, etcetera.
All types of material and equipment are (after consultation with our staff) in principle (re)usable and deployable. With an extra note on the following goods:
In anticipation of our Sparky swimming school and to improve safety for fishermen on the ocean, we are looking for new or used swimwear, swimming lesson equipment, life jackets, life buoys, in short everything that can improve safety on the water.
As preliminary work for our future optician, (sun) glasses are highly welcome. New or used. For men, women & children. But also contact lenses, lens solution, eye measurement equipment, optician furniture. In short, we gladly accept everything that has to do with eyes.
IT & telecom
Your old or unused IT equipment is of great value to us. For our IT school and our online education project, everything in this area is useful. For example: Desktops, laptops, tablets, smart phones, printers, mouses, routers, cables and everything else in the field of Telecom.
We are constantly looking for support not only to reduce the high maternity deaths among women and babies, but also for many other children living below the poverty line. For example: Clothes, baby food, a crib, mosquito nets, and anything else that could benefit a child.
